Circular business
We are embedding circular principles across our product design, materials sourcing, and end-of-life solutions, while also striving for repairability, recyclability, and minimal waste in our operations.

A commitment to become a more circular business

Throughout the VELUX Group, we are looking for new ways to eliminate waste and keep valuable resources in use. This extends to all parts of our business – from sourcing materials with recycled content to working with partners in the industry to introduce greater circularity throughout the building sector. We have developed a strategic framework and governance strategy to address opportunities and impacts across four focus areas. This framework forms the foundation of our work with circularity.

How we’re working towards a more circular economy

To reduce waste and rethink resource use across the building industry, we’re working to embed circular principles throughout our value chain. From sourcing and design to refurbishment and take-back schemes, we’re piloting real-world solutions with the aim of scaling them to meet market demands.
